Startup Studio was delighted to engage artists Michelle Gagliano and Andrea Ruedy Trimble in a conversation about the importance of increasing sustainability both in your studio and in your artwork. They discussed how to create and use more earth-friendly materials and how they reflect the importance of these values in their studios, in their practice, and in their finished artwork.
The talk was followed by a hands-on art-making activity, as attendees learned how to make an ink material from natural sources, which was used in a drawing session.
