“Letting go” is the idea around which this latest cycle of artworks by Michelle Gagliano revolves, made only with inks and pigments on fine cotton paper: “Stepping away from large deliberate paintings on canvas to the intimate process of the meditative interaction of ink on paper, I am finding a new voice in the studio and discovering my own equilibrium through the action on the paper of fluid movements, composed of stains, scrapings and motion” (Michelle Gagliano).
“Letting go – Thoughts on paper”, curated by Maria Vittoria Marchetta, will be on view from June 8 to July 22, 2023.
